At Modecasa, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to love your furniture, and if you don’t, we make returns simple and straightforward. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our process.
Return Eligibility
For Return Eligibility, make sure your product is
- Unused and Unassembled.
- The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days.
- The Goods are in the original packaging.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
The 30-day period begins when you receive the item, not when you place the order.
Items Conditions Requirements
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
Returnable Items Must Be:
- Unused and unassembled (for furniture requiring assembly)
- In original condition with no signs of use or wear
- In original packaging with all materials, hardware, and instructions included
- Free from pet hair, odors, stains, or damage
Non-Returnable Items:
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized items
- Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at time of purchase)
- Gift cards
- Items damaged after delivery due to misuse or assembly errors
Return Process
All returns are handled by mail only. We do not accept in-store returns for online purchases at this time.
Step 1: Contact Us
To initiate a return, contact our customer service team:

Please provide:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Photos (if item is damaged or defective)
Step 2: Receive Authorization
- Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days
- If approved, We’ll provide detailed return instructions
IMPORTANT: Do not ship items back without authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
Step 3: Pack and Ship
- Repack the item securely in its original packaging
- Include all parts, hardware, and documentation
- Attach the provided return label
- Drop off at the designated carrier location listed on label (UPS, FedEx, DHL, United States Postal Service)
Step 4: Tracking
- Your return label includes tracking
- You’ll receive email updates when we receive your return
- Keep your tracking number for your records
If you’ve misplaced the return label, please contact us at support@modecasa.shop to request a new one.
Return Shipping Costs
A prepaid return shipping label is included in every package.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We cover all return shipping costs if:
- Item arrived damaged or defective
- Wrong item was shipped
- Item doesn’t match description
Change of Mind / Customer Preference
You are responsible for return shipping costs if:
- You ordered the wrong size or color
- You changed your mind
- Item doesn’t fit your space as expected
A prepaid return label is already added in your parcel, but the cost will be deducted from your refund.
Return Shipping Protection
- If your return is lost or damaged in transit while using our provided label, you are not responsible
- We handle all claims with the carrier
- Keep your tracking information until refund is processed
Inspection & Processing
Upon Receipt
Once we receive your return:
- Inspection: Our team inspects the item within 3 – 5 business days
- Verification: We verify the item meets return eligibility requirements
- Notification: You’ll receive an email with the inspection results
Approval or Denial
- Approved: Refund processed within 1 business day of approval
- Denied: We’ll email you the reason and offer alternatives
Common Denial Reasons:
- Item shows signs of use or assembly
- Missing parts, hardware, or packaging
- Damaged after delivery (not manufacturer defect)
- Returned without authorization
Restocking Fee:
We Don’t charge any restocking fee What so ever.
Refunds
Refund Amount
Full Refund:
- For defective, damaged, or incorrect items
- Original purchase price refunded in full
Partial Refund:
- Change of mind returns: Original price minus return shipping cost
- Items with missing parts: Deduction for missing components
- Items not in original condition: Deduction based on depreciation
Refund Method
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
We do not offer:
- Cash refunds
- Refunds to different payment methods
Refund Timeline
- Return Inspection: It takes 3-5 Business Days after we received your return.
- Processing: 1 business day after inspection approval.
- Bank/Card Appearance: 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
- Total Refund Time: Calculating all above, it can take up to 16 Business days for your refund amount to show in your original payment method.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different size, color, or item:
- Return the original item following this policy
- Place a new order for the item you want
- Once your return is processed, you’ll receive a refund
This ensures you receive the correct item as quickly as possible.
Exception: Defective Items
If you received a defective item and want the same item (not a refund):
- Contact us immediately at support@modecasa.shop
- We’ll arrange a free replacement shipment
- A prepaid return label in already in your package
- No cost to you for shipping either direction
Damaged or Defective Items
Report Immediately
If your item arrives damaged or defective report Within 48 hours of delivery:
- Email support@modecasa.shop with photos
- Include your order number
- Show damage to packaging and product
- Keep all packaging materials
We will:
- Process full refund or free replacement
- Cover all shipping costs
Manufacturer Defects
Defects covered under this policy include:
- Structural issues
- Material flaws
- Missing or broken parts upon arrival
- Items that don’t match product description
Not covered:
- Damage from improper assembly
- Normal wear and tear after use
- Damage from misuse or accidents
- Subjective issues (color slightly different than expected)
Never Received Items
Showing delivered but you didn’t receive the item, ask from your neighbors, Contact Shipping courier immediately, and wait for 48 hours, if you didn’t find your parcel, contact us at support@modecasa.shop, and we will help resolving the issue as soon as possible.

We have the right to update Return & Refund Policy anytime without prior notice according to our requirements for smooth Returns.
